🇬🇧 Description:

At the first hint of a chill in the air, Elmer's friends start complaining about the cold, so Elmer decides to show them what cold weather is really like. They set off for a walk up a mountain, and the higher they get, the colder it gets. A good snowball fight at the top warms them all up, but the elephants agree that compared with the freezing mountain top, their home is not really that cold at all. With his typical sense of mischief and fun, Elmer shows how hot and cold are only relative.

Reviews:

"Elmer, the colorful patchwork elephant, reveals a sense of humor as he shows a herd of gray elephants that cold and warm are relative terms. When the others complain that they feel cold on a colder than usual day in the jungle, Elmer leads them on a journey up to snow-covered mountains where they cavort in the snow and ice. Hone again, they are now better able to appreciate their warm jungle home. This gentle story is sure to please children....Delightful."--School Library Journal.
